This lovely shade harks back from we believe the early part of the twentieth century, and has the most wonderful shaped frame - a fluted oval daisy frame which are very hard to find. The fabric is a warm khaki chiffon, and as it has been lined with silvery green satin, is is wonderful when lit. It has an extravagant braid around the top ring, and a lovely tassel braid around the base. The fitting is a UK one for table or desk lamp bases.

Vintage condition - there are issues with this shade - on one side there are snags to the chiffon, a stain and little marks. On the other side though it is fine! inside the lining is torn in a few places (please see images) but this is not noticeable when lit. It needs careful handling but that is only a reflection of its great age and pedigree! It is a wonderful example of vintage interior lighting.
